The Pakistan United Kingdom Education Gateway Program has requested applications from Pakistani experts and reviewers to evaluate the quality of research (PUKEGP).
This initiative, which
intends to design and carry out a policy framework for research evaluation
known as the tailored Research Excellence Framework, is a joint effort between
the HEC and the British Council (REF).
The key goals of REF include
raising research productivity, creating standards for good research, and
effectively informing stakeholders of the results.
Here is everything you need
to know about the most recent HEC project.
The HEC is seeking
individuals who have experience reviewing, are capable and willing to do so, or
who have participated in REF or other comparable UK activities.
Responsibilities/Duties
The chosen candidates will
need to:
· Act as subject matter expert in the creation
of REF.
· Help HEC with the planning, delivery, and
evaluation of REF submissions.
· Serve as panel chairpersons or panel
specialists to examine the grant applications received in response to various
solicitations.
Eligibility Requirements
At least one of the
eligibility requirements listed below must be met by the candidate.
· The candidate must be an academic staff
member at one of Pakistan's public or private universities.
· The candidate must belong to any other
R&D (Research and Development) industry, think tank, or organization in the
area.
