Virat Kohli Throws Shade at Teammates
After India's defeat to Pakistan in the 2022 Asia Cup, the nation's top batter, Virat Kohli, addressed his complaints over being relieved of his duties as captain in a news conference. Kohli revealed that he felt left out after no one sought him following his decision to resign India’s Test captaincy earlier in the year.
Kohli openly discussed the
transition he underwent after losing his position as captain of the national
team. Former cricketers, according to Kohli, were ready to criticise him while
watching him on television but lacked the decency to even call or text him.

The 34-year-old claimed that
only one of his former teammates, MS Dhoni, directly approached him and brought
up the subject with him.
The top batter has been
outstanding in the ongoing 2022 Asia Cup. He led India in scoring against
Pakistan last night, and he has scored the most runs for the Men in Blue
overall in this tournament. For his team to advance to the competition's final,
Kohli will be driven to play yet another significant knock.
