Vice-captain Shadab Khan claimed that intense games like the one between Pakistan and Afghanistan in the Super Four round of the Asia Cup can cause a heart attack.
"I think we are being
harsh to people because these matches have a significant probability of giving
someone a heart attack," Shadab stated in a post-match press conference.
The star player claimed that
while he could play in such contests, he couldn't watch them.
Shadab had a wicket and
three sixes in the match with Afghanistan today.
The Green Shirts prevailed
by a single wicket to advance to the championship. On Sunday, Pakistan will
play against Sri Lanka (September 11).
